Lyons Farmer's Market - Garlic Day

Garlic growers and garlic lovers - come together for a celebration of all things garlic! Saturday, September 23, 2023, from 8:00 AM until 12:00 PM, the Lyons Farmers' Market will have its fourth annual garlic day at Church Street in historic downtown Lyons. Get your garlic fix at the only garlic event in the Rochester area that weekend. Learn about the many varieties of garlic, watch garlic braiding demonstrations, talk to garlic expert David Stern, browse the many different varieties of garlic for sale, take a chance on a sumptuous Garlic gift basket, take home wonderful garlic-based foods. Also featured, are breakfast sandwiches, fried dough, locally roasted coffee, farm fresh produce, flowers, jams, meat, sourdough bread, eggs, honey, crafts, and baked goods. Within walking distance of the market, check out Lyons' family-owned shops and restaurants (several with special garlic-related products), visit the Peppermint Museum, and the Museum of Wayne County History, and take a walking or biking tour to learn about the three generations of the Erie Canal passing through Lyons - all listed on maps available at the market.
